Hey everyone, welcome to Taurus Season!

Taurus Season is a time when everything is fertile, alive and ready for productivity. Hence, it’s a good time to get busy and get work done. While it’s a time for us to move into a regular rhythm of work, it’s also a time for sensual enjoyment- so don’t forget to stop and smell the roses.

In this Taurus season, we will see a few key astrological movements.

Eclipse season

There’d be a Solar Eclipse happening on the 30th April and a Lunar Eclipse on 16th May. Because the eclipses are happening on the Taurus-Scorpio axis, the energies which are surfacing would be thematically about death and rebirth, material abundance and fertility. If you have planets triggered by these eclipses, you can expect incoming and sudden shifts in your life. While they may seem abrupt, they are also meant to speed up your soul’s growth. Its impact would carry on for the next six months.

Jupiter ingress in Aries:

Jupiter will also move out of Pisces and into Aries (temporarily). While Jupiter in Pisces was particularly spiritual and powerful, it was also a tad dreamy and mellow. It’s energy might feel too passive for some of us. With Jupiter’s ingress into Aries, we can expect this energy of growth and abundance to take on a more active tone. I’d expect growth and expansion to get pushy and forceful- which, for some of us, may just be the energy we need and are looking for.

However, Aries is not known to be an energy with patience and stamina, so I’d also be cautious about where I’m growing during this period and find a way to keep it burning and going.

Lastly, the dreaded Mercury Retrograde is back!

While technically it’d only be in full swing from 10th May, we are entering its shadow period next week. This time, Mercury Retrograde will happen in the late degrees of Taurus and early Gemini, so if you have planets in late degrees of Fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, Aquarius) and early degrees of Mutable signs (Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, Pisces), you’d most definitely be affected.
